Giant Peanut Butter Cup (Valentines Day Gift)

Happy Valentines Day! 💝

Its that time of year again to show your loved ones your undying affection in the form of chocolate and other gifts. We all know that chocolate is the way to any girls (or guys) heart. Unless you hate chocolate, then what the heck are you doing here. GTFO! For the rest of you I have a awesome treat that's sure to please. We all about making you a happy couple. 😘

I decided to make my hubby a giant peanut butter cup for his valentines day gift and it turned out great. Never hurts to go big when trying to impress (or bribe) that certain special someone. Here's my recipe.

2 cup Peanut Butter
2 cup Powdered Sugar
1/4 cup Melted Butter
1 teaspoon Vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt
1(10-12oz) bag Chocolate Chips (Dark or Milk, whatever you prefer)

9 inch Tart Pan with removable bottom or silicon mold

Make your peanut butter filling. Mix together peanut butter, powdered sugar, melted butter, vanilla and salt. Using a mixer will save your arms.

Melt 2/3 of your chocolate in the microwave and pour into your tart pan or mold. Use a spoon to spread it around and up the sides of the pan. Put it in the fridge to chill till chocolate is set.

Press the peanut butter filling into the pan but not all the way to the top. You need some space for the rest of your chocolate.

Melt the remaining chocolate and spread it over the filling. Tap the pan on the counter to smooth out the top and work out any air bubbles.

Pop it in the fridge again till the chocolate is all set and your done! A tart pan with a removable bottom is very helpful when removing your peanut butter cup but a silicon mold works just as well. I made 2 (one in each pan) and they both turned out well. If you're worried about your dessert sticking then line the bottom with some wax paper. Hope you like it!
