Pie Pops

Happy Pi Day!

Get it? Pi ➤ Pie, math jokes lol. (I'm such a nerd) March 14 or 3.14 which is the number for Pi is National Pi Day. So what better way to celebrate than to have some pie!

This isn't so much as a recipe as just a cute idea and something fun to make with kids. Its super easy and only takes a few ingredients. Plus its on a stick! Win/Win!

 Ingredients-

Pie Filling
Pie Crust
Egg
Sugar

Tools-

Circle Cutter
Popsicle Sticks

Directions-

Cut some circles out of some store bought pie dough. You need enough for both tops and bottoms.

Place on backing sheet and place the sticks.

Add 1 teaspoon of filling to each pie.

Cover with top crust and crimp edges with a fork.

Have your little helper brush the tops with egg wash (egg wash is just a beaten egg with a little water). Then sprinkle with a little sugar.

Bake at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until golden.

If you want you can decorate with the Pi symbol.

That's it! Easy and cute. If you don't have the popsicle sticks just leave them out and make little hand pies. If you don't have a circle cutter just use a kitchen knife and make squares. Easy peasy. Hope you try these out and check out my YouTube Video on how I made these. See ya later.
