White Chocolate Cranberry Cookie

Hey everyone,

I'm back with a yummy cookie recipe today. This is a cookie I like to make at work because its easy, taste good, and can be customizable. You can use whatever chocolate chips you want or dried fruit and nuts. Or if you're like a tiny, hair-bow wearing chef I know, then leave out the chocolate altogether and make it a oatmeal raisin cookie. Or a all chocolate cookie if you're like me.

I believe I originally found this recipe on a Crisco shortening package but I switched the shortening to butter and it still taste just as good. Here's the recipe.

Ingredients

3/4 cup Butter
3/4 cup Sugar
3/4 cup Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
2 teaspoon Vanilla
1 cup All Purpose Flour
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon Salt
2 3/4 cup Oatmeal
1 cup White Chocolate Chips*
1 cup Dried Cranberries *
*(or use 2 cups worth of any chips, fruit or nuts)

Directions-

Heat oven to 375 degrees.
Cream together the butter, sugar and brown sugar.

Beat in the eggs and vanilla.

Next mix in the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.

Last stir in the oatmeal, white chocolate chips and cranberries.

Drop by rounded tablespoons about 2 inches apart on a baking sheet.

Bake 10-12 minutes and enjoy.

That's it! It's a pretty easy cookie recipe. No fuss and you can make it to suit your tastes. I hope you give this recipe a try and of course Crisco did not sponsor this blog. You can also check out my YouTube video to see how I make these. See ya soon!
