Mug Meals for 1

Hey everyone,
 I'm back with 3 coffee mug meals you can make when you're to lazy to cook or only have a microwave to cook with. These are great for college dorms or hotel rooms with limited cooking space. Or you just want food and don't want to share with others so you only make enough for yourself, (jerk) but I totally wont judge you.




 For breakfast how about Apple Cranberry Mug Oatmeal! Its easy to make and filling. A good start to your day.







Ingredients-

1/4 cup Diced Apple (just eat the rest)
2 Tablespoon Dried Cranberries
1 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
1 Tablespoon Butter 
1/2 cup Oatmeal
1/2 cup Water 
Pinch of Salt & Cinnamon

Directions-

 In a coffee mug add your apple, cranberries, sugar and butter. Microwave for 1 minute and stir. Next add the oatmeal, water, salt and cinnamon and microwave another 2 minutes. Just enjoy in the mug or put in a bowl. Easy 😊




 Next for lunch or dinner nothing is better than Mug Mac & Cheese for 1. This recipe can be a little bit of a pain because you really need to babysit it while its in the microwave but its soo worth it. 



 Ingredients-

1/2 cup Macaroni Noodles
1 cup Water
1/4 cup Milk
Pinch of Salt
1/2 cup Shredded Cheese 
1 Tablespoon Butter


Directions-

 In a large mug (the bigger the better) add macaroni noodles and water. Microwave 6 minutes stirring every 1 minute. I can almost guarantee the water might boil over but just keep an eye on it and stir it often. If all the water boils over before the 6 minutes is up just add a little more water and keep microwaving. Every microwave is different but this was the best method for my 1000 watt microwave. Next stir in the milk, cheese, salt and butter and microwave for another 1-2 minutes. Would recommend cooling before eating.



 Last is a OMG good Mug Lava Cake. 😍This one is by far my favorite. Plus as a bonus this recipe makes 2 mug cakes, in case you wanted to share (idk why you would).



Ingredients-

Dry-
1/3 cup All Purpose Flour
1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
2 Tablespoon Sugar
2 Tablespoon Brown Sugar
2 Tablespoon Cocoa Powder
Pinch Salt 

Wet-
1/4 cup Milk
1 Egg
2 Tablespoon Melted Butter
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla

2-3 squares of your favorite chocolate bar 


Directions-

 In a bowl mix together the dry ingredients. Then add the wet ingredients and mix all together. Divide batter into 2 coffee mugs. Microwave mugs separately so they cook evenly.  Microwave each mug for 30 seconds, remove and insert chocolate squares into the middle of cake and microwave another 30 seconds. Done! Just remove cake and enjoy with ice cream or just inhale straight from the mug. I'll let you decide what to do with the second cake. (I won't judge if you eat them both).
