Hi everyone and welcome back to my food universe. Also Happy Holidays since it is that time of year again and I have a yummy dessert recipe for you. Mississippi Mud Pie! (no, not the stuff your kid makes you every summer) This is a creamy, layered pudding dessert and also my husbands favorite dessert for Christmas. Look at the layers^ 😍 Not only is this a very easy recipe to make but its very easy to personalize. You can use any flavor of cookie for the crust and whatever pudding you like. In this neck of the woods (North Dakota) everyone I know calls this a refrigerator dessert but being from the south myself my mom called it a mud pie. We've been watching Christmas movies and doing plenty of baking at my house. My son is so weird, he loves to help me make the cookies but he won't eat them. I'd kill for that strength. Anyway, this year while watching How The Grinch Stole Christmas my hubby challenged me to make the Roast Beast from the Jim Carrey movie version. If you haven't seen this movie it looks like a giant turkey with extra legs. So, of course, why wouldn't I make this! It was surprisingly easy to make and we had a good laugh over the whole thing. Zombie Head Meatloaf with Spaghetti

Happy Halloween everyone! 🎃 I'm back with more fun Halloween themed treats. Well, this is more meats than treats but you got to have some gore for Halloween lol. This is such a fun dinner to have with kids. When my son saw the meatloaf he just had to give me his best-scared face and zombie impression. Plus this meal just begs to be eaten with your hands, just like an episode of Walking Dead with a horde of zombies ripping apart and eating a victim. Horde....... does anyone else like that word? I literally only use it when talking about zombies and World of Warcraft. (win/win). Also, the hubby had no problems eating with his hands. He makes a pretty convincing zombie.
