Happy Spooktober!!π
Anyone that knows me knows that I love Halloween. Its one of my favorite holidays. Probably because there's less of a demand to buy gifts and more incentive to eat candy and dress up. Who can say no to a Walking Dead marathon? So I have plans to make some Halloween themed goodies this month, starting with Monster Cookies. The recipe is super easy plus there are a ton of variations of this recipe online. It's not a new cookie but still awesome and an easy way to use some leftover Halloween candy. Make them as big or little as you like!
Ingredients-
1 stick softened Butter
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Brown Sugar
3 Eggs
1 cup Peanut Butter
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Vanilla
2 tsp Baking Soda
4 cup Oatmeal Quick/Instant
1/2 cup Chocolate Chips
1/2 cup M&M candy
Directions-
Get a bowl and dump shit in. DONE! lol
Cream together the butter and sugars.
Then add in the eggs, salt, vanilla, baking soda, peanut butter and mix.
Last mix in the oatmeal, chocolate chips, and candies.
Spoon tablespoons of cookie dough onto a baking tray and bake @ 350F for 10 minutes.
That's it! Easy and good. If you want a bigger monster-sized cookie just bake longer. The biggest cookie I made took 15 minutes to bake but its fun to see peoples reaction to suck a big cookie. I put in a deck of cards for size reference lol. I also forgot the baking soda in the first batch. It didn't really bother the cookies, they just didn't spread out as much.
Right side is cookies without baking soda.
